We need your help to echo the efforts of advocates who stormed the Capitol on May 10th. On Thursday, advocates showed up in Sacramento to testify at a public hearing in support of investing in healthy meals in child care. The hearing, held by the State Senate Subcommittee 1 on Education, was one of only a few opportunities before the budget is finalized in June for advocates to publicly comment on what they would like the senate to prioritize in the 2018-2019 state budget. With only a few weeks before the state budget is finalized, we need your help to amplify their message.
Join us in asking policymakers in Sacramento to invest in healthy meals in child care. Help us amplify the Food With Care message by taking part in a social media day of action on May 17th.
