Transitions are hard. Food helps.

The Thriving Transitions campaign takes direct aim at federal and state policies that block access to CalFresh (SNAP) and other likely eligible programs before release from jails and prisons. The current system makes successful transitions back to the 58 diverse counties across California more difficult. These barriers have long-term effects on both the individual and the community as a whole.

Join the movement to support the transition of formerly incarcerated  Californians access to food, housing, jobs, and more prior to release.
