CFPA in the AJPH on Ethics of Obesity Prevention

3.19.2014 The latest American Journal of Public Health (AJPH) features a paper coauthored by CFPA, “Ethics and Obesity Prevention: Ethical Considerations in 3 Approaches to Reducing Consumption of Sugar-Sweetened Beverages” which evaluates ethical challenges of interventions to reduce sugar sweetened beverages. The paper is coauthored by CFPA’s former Executive Director Ken Hecht and Nutrition Policy Advocate Kerry Birnbach, as well as Nancy Kass and Amy Hall from the Berman Institute of Bioethics and the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.
