3.19.2015 Our partner Action for Healthy Kids (AFHK) is now accepting applications for School Breakfast Grants for Healthy Kids for the 2015-2016 school year! Grants ranging from $1,000 to $2,500 are available. Apply by May 1, 2015.
School breakfast has countless positive outcomes for both students and schools. Eating breakfast has been linked to increased test scores, fewer absences, and higher graduation rates. To date, more than 35 million breakfasts have been served thanks to AFHK’s School Breakfast Grants for Healthy Kids.
In addition to funding, your school will receive year-round support, gain access to AFHK’s new and improved grants portal, and ensure your students are healthy and ready to learn!
