9.06.2013 AB 290 (Alejo) Foundations for Healthy Nutrition in Child Care passed the Senate today with another bipartisan floor vote of 38-0! The bill, which would amend licensing laws to add one hour to the preventive health and safety training in order to educate prospective child care providers about the importance of childhood nutrition and the resources of CACFP, will head to the Assembly for concurrence.
