9.29.2015 The 2015 CalFresh Forum event program is now available. This year the Forum is designed with three plenary speakers each bringing unique insight into modernized business processes and systems which can be adapted to improve CalFresh participation and customer service. We are also thrilled to welcome USDA SNAP Administrator Jessica Shahin, who will provide updates on SNAP from a national perspective. CDSS CalFresh Branch Chief Kim McCoy Wade will also lead an interactive discussion of current and upcoming opportunities to improve and strengthen the CalFresh program statewide.
In addition to the program speakers, the annual “Freshy” awards will be presented in acknowledgment of individual Californians, as well as organizations, from across the state that have worked diligently in the last year to improve CalFresh.
An optional networking reception will be held immediately after the event.
