6.25.2013 In response to a decade-long decrease of Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) Day Care Home Sponsors in Los Angeles County, CFPA and the Child Care Food Program Roundtable developed a series of recommendations for the California Department of Education, Nutrition Services Division (NSD) to consider. The NSD responded with a willingness to collaborate and renewed commitment to improving the training and technical assistance processes for CACFP DCH Sponsors. Together we developed a document titled, Action Plan for Improvement: Child and Adult Care Food Program Training and Technical Assistance, which outlines CFPA and the Roundtable’s recommendations and the NSD’s commitment of action.
