4.22.14 A CalFresh In-Reach convening for those who serve families with children age 0-5, scheduled for June 4th.
In-Reach is the opportunity to better inform, connect, and enroll households using other public benefit programs into CalFresh. This convening’s strategy is focused on bringing together trusted members of the community, organizations and agencies that provide resource and referral services for public benefits like health and child care. There is an integral role in implementing CalFresh in-reach strategies if your focus is on enhancing children’s health and well-being. Reduced food insecurity and improved access to nutritious foods are fundamental goals of CalFresh.
