2.13.2014 Today Senator de León (Los Angeles) introduced SB 1002 Aligning Opportunities for Health which aims to strengthen alignment between Medi-Cal and CalFresh reporting periods. CFPA is excited to co-sponsor with Western Center on Law and Poverty this important piece of legislation which would streamline benefit delivery and help ensure access to both nutrition and health benefits for low-income Californians.
