The Freshy Awards honor individuals or organizations who have diligently fought for food justice in the past year. Community members like yourself nominate and vote for our winners every year. Winners are then announced and celebrated at Nourish California's annual CalFresh Forum.

Nominate someone for the 2026 Freshy Awards
Now is your chance to uplift someone in your community that has been doing powerful work for food justice! Please consider the intersectional ways that food justice is fought for within other movement work and how your college campus, your mutual aid coordinator, or other people in your life have contributed to increasing food access in your community.
Using the form below, Nourish California will collect information about each nominee to develop a voting ballot. Based on your votes, the Freshy Award winners will be announced at the 2026 CalFresh Forum.
