California Food4All Webinar: Successes, Challenges, & Lessons
Nourish California and California Immigrant Policy Center will be conducting a Food4All Webinar on Tuesday, October 18th at 10am.
The purpose of the webinar is to build on recent successes of the Food4All campaign and share strategies, challenges, and lessons learned with national and state partners who are interested in learning more about the campaign or pursuing similar advocacy efforts.
Our audience will consist of national partners, state partners and advocacy groups (both anti-hunger, immigrant rights), partners who are in states that have a similar political trajectory as California who would like to adopt the Food4All campaign model
In this webinar you will:
-Learn the history and pathway to developing the California Food4All campaign
-Better understand the steps and progress made to winning Food4All for California immigrants 55 and older, regardless of immigration status.
-Understand strategies, tactics, and activities that can be applied to other states
-Understand the importance of centering community members in the campaign and ensuring diverse partnerships
