Voice Your Support for AB 2099: Safe Drinking Water

Published on Feb 22, 2016 in CalFresh, State Legislation

Take Action icon2.22.2016 It’s time to tell California leaders that access to safe drinking water is a human right that no one should go without. Many California residents face daunting challenges as the drought continues to exacerbate water quality issues for communities who disproportionately bear the health and financial impacts of inadequate access to safe water. AB 2099 (Stone) would authorize the State’s Electronic Benefit Transfer (EBT) system to deliver interim, supplemental benefits to low-income California households without safe drinking water.
