2.1.2010In California, the Food Stamp Program (FSP) currently reaches nearly 3 million people on a monthly basis, but about 3 million more are eligible who are not participating. With such a large number of eligible Californians, it is pivotal that we understand the changing characteristics of household’s participating in the FSP, as well as those eligible and not participating. Projected characteristics can inform potential policy changes and the possible outcomes of these changes.
