The 2019 CalFresh Forum event program is now available. This year’s event will feature a special focus on the upcoming expansion of CalFresh eligibility to SSI recipients. We hope you will join us March 6 in Sacramento!
In addition to the SSI CalFresh expansion, presentation topics will include upcoming state legislation, lessons learned from the re-implementation of the three-month time limit for unemployed adults without children, improving food access for immigrants, and an update on the federal policy landscape.
In addition to the program speakers, the annual “Freshy” awards will be presented in acknowledgment of individual Californians, as well as organizations, from across the state that have worked diligently in the last year to improve CalFresh.
