The 2022 Freshy Awards
Now Accepting Nominations
The “Freshy” Awards honor the actions of individual Californians and organizations that have worked diligently in the last year to improve CalFresh.
The Freshy Awards were not held in 2021 due to the global pandemic. As they return, we are welcoming nominations for a wide range of actions, including:
- Policy actions to improve access to CalFresh
- Policy actions to increase CalFresh benefit allotments
- Innovative outreach strategies to increase CalFresh participation
- Pandemic EBT advocacy, implementation, and outreach successes
Nourish California will collect information about each nominee in order to develop a voting ballot that will be distributed in early January. Based on your votes, the Freshy Award winners will be announced at the 2022 CalFresh Forum.
