5.25.2012 AB 1560 (Fuentes) Food for Health passed out of the Assembly Appropriations Committee today, and will soon go to the Assembly floor. The bill will closely align Medi-Cal and nutrition assistance benefits by removing a CalFresh income barrier for Medi-Cal recipients and their families, ensuring that low-income Californians have access to food in order to support their health.
