8.23.2012 AB 1594 Improving Charter School Nutrition passed the Senate today with a floor vote of 21-12! The bill, which would extend the needy student meal mandate to California charter schools, will head to the Assembly shortly for concurrence on amendments taken in the Senate. We thank you for your continued support as the bill makes its way toward the Governor’s desk.
