12.19.2013 There’s still time to nominate someone for a Freshy Award! The nomination process has been extended until 9am on Monday, January 6. CFPA will collect information about each nominee in order to develop a voting ballot that will be distributed in early January. Based on your votes, the Freshy Award winners will be announced at the 2014 CalFresh Forum.
The “Freshy” Awards honor the actions of individual Californians and organizations from across the state that have worked diligently in the last year to improve CalFresh.

A 2014 Freshy will be awarded to a nominee in each of the following categories:
- Administrator of the Year
- Outreach Leader of the Year
- Grassroots Mobilizer of the Year
- Emerging Leader of the Year
- Elected Official or Capitol Staffer of the Year
