6.8.2011 Hunger Action Day 2011 took place on May 17th in Sacramento,CA.The event was a great success! With more than 200 statewide advocates in attendance, a little rain could not stop participants from voicing their support for anti-hunger legislation and efforts to alleviate the struggles of hunger faced by too many Californians. The day’s events included legislative and advocacy training, the 2011 Hunger Fighter Award Ceremony, individual legislative visits and much more!
