The Nourish California Board of Directors took action at its April meeting to approve Myisha Hogan as a Director.
As a nonprofit organization, Nourish California looks to the Board to provide high-level strategy and direction to guide our work. Board members steward our resources and help ensure that everything we do serves our mission and the diverse Californians touched by our work.
The Board is so very pleased that Myisha has offered her time and talents in support of our mission.
Myisha is an award-winning visual communicator with a passion for expanding civic engagement and amplifying the voices of underrepresented communities. She was the Communications Director for Planetree Health Library and an Assistant Public Information Officer/Media Tech for Marin County, where she assisted the Covid-19 response and earned several accolades for her design work. For the past year, she has worked in consumer protection and finance as the Digital Director for the California Department of Financial Protection and Innovation.
Myisha also has over 15 years of experience as a Graphic Designer and is an accomplished illustrator and photographer.
