The “Freshy” Awards honor the actions of individual Californians and organizations that have worked diligently in the last year to improve CalFresh. CFPA will collect information about each nominee in order to develop a voting ballot that will be distributed in early December. Based on your votes, the Freshy Award winners will be announced at the 2020 CalFresh Forum.

A 2020 Freshy will be awarded to a nominee in each of the following categories:
- Administrator of the Year
- Outreach Leader of the Year
- Grassroots Mobilizer of the Year
- Elected Official or Capitol Staffer of the Year
The Freshy Award nomination process will close on Tuesday, December 31, 2019 at 6pm.
