Earlier in 2019, we asked about the issues affecting you, your community, and California at large. We do this all throughout the year, but we use this time (late summer/early fall) to do a deeper dive. It’s a time for us to identify newly emerging issues and to better understand the changes you want to see and how we can work together to make them a reality. We also use this time to challenge and affirm our existing priorities for: state legislation, administrative advocacy, federal advocacy, and research. Through listening circles, one-on-one discussions, and an online survey, hundreds of you shared your thoughts and concerns. We listened. Here is what we heard…

What’s Next?

Thank you for taking part in this important listening and learning stage with us. As we listened, we heard many recurring challenges and themes in regards to the solutions you would like to see us advance. We are now in the process of translating what we heard into updated policy priorities for 2020. As we do, we would like to hear from you. How can we work together to address the challenges and solutions you raised?

Have ideas for how we can work together?
