8.15.2013 The Cornell University Center for Behavioral Economics in Child Nutrition Programs launches a new website with resources to promote school meals and healthy school environments.

The website, Healthy Food Choices in Schools, features brief articles and related links on a variety of topics including ways to encourage kids to eat healthy food, the business of school food, developing healthy eating dialogues in school communities, and other great resources.

The B.E.N Center is also known for driving the Smarter Lunchroom Movement. The movement focuses on how simple, low-cost and no-cost changes to the lunchroom environment, such as relocating fruits, renaming vegetables and prompting students to enjoy healthy foods, can nudge students to make healthier food choices.
