State Budget Update 1: Funding for Food4All Implementation
The State Budget deal reached last weekend includes funding for "programming and other costs" to begin implementation of the Food4All proposal. This is an important step toward a permanent solution to address the exclusion of immigrants from CalFresh.
State Budget Update 2: Funding for Child Care Meals
The agreed-upon budget also includes ongoing funding for meals served in child care and early education programs.

The budget deal includes funding for Universal School Meals.

State Budget Update 4: CalFresh Simplification
The 2021-22 State Budget package includes funding for the policies proposed in SB 107 (Wiener). State leaders have listened to our broad coalition's call to make CalFresh easier for seniors and people with disabilities.

State CalFresh Time Limit Waiver is Approved
The three-month CalFresh time limit for unemployed adults without minor children in all California counties has been approved through June 30, 2022. Learn more
