2026 Theme: We Imagine, We Act.
For this year’s CalFresh Forum, we are bringing new community-centered topics and opportunities to connect with others to imagine a California where everyone has access to the food they need and want. Together, we will imagine food justice beyond the limits of what we are told is politically possible. And we will move those ideas into action. As Ruha Benjamin reminds us, imagination must be paired with strategy and organizing to bring new futures into being.
There will be opportunities to submit your own proposal, volunteer to select proposal topics for the day, and choose this year’s Freshy Award winners! Follow us on our social media @nourishcalifornia or subscribe to our email list to receive updates.
