Update on SB 464 - Food4All

We are very pleased with our early progress! After only six months of campaigning, this year’s state budget includes funding to begin implementation of the Food4All. Recognizing this, SB 464 (Hurtado)—Food4All will remain in Assembly Appropriations for the remainder of the 2021 Legislative year. The fight for Food4All continues!

On Tuesday, the United States Senate adopted a budget resolution that will enable Congress to advance sweeping legislation to disrupt poverty and give every American a more fair shot at health and happiness. Over the next several weeks, we have a tremendous opportunity to shape the final budget reconciliation legislation and advance the changes we all care about.
